HVAC technicians turn to RYDALL CC  for its indoor/outdoor capabilities and non-corrosiveness

The service technicians at a major HVAC company decided to put RYDALL CC  to the test against the coil cleaners they had been using for years.  These seasoned technicians were skeptical, but agreed to the test it when they learned that RYDALL CC  can be used both indoors and outdoors, will not harm roofing materials and is biodegradable!

  • RYDALL CC  diluted (1:2), foamed onto the coil surface, allowed to penetrate into the coil for approximately 20 minutes and rinsed off with water.

  • The technicians loved the performance and versatility of RYDALL CC  and now use it on all their coil cleaning jobs!


Heavy scale on tower fill at luxury hotel gone in less than 1 hour!

The cooling tower at one of Downtown Chicago’s luxury hotels was experiencing reduced airflow due to scale accumulation on the exterior surfaces of the tower fill. In addition to the reduced tower performance, the visible scale accumulation was aesthetically displeasing to the tower maintenance personnel.  

RYDALL CC  approach

  • 5 gallons diluted (1:2) and foamed onto the exterior of the tower fill for approximately 20 minutes and rinsed off with water.
  • Overall cleaning time was 1 hour!

  • Most of the scaling was dissolved and resulted in immediate airflow and improved aesthetics.
  • Customer scheduled a comprehensive cleaning utilizing our RYDLYME biodegradable descaler to remove scale from the tower interior and RYDALL CC  to return the exterior surfaces to like new condition!

The air conditioning system at a school was experiencing problems when the normally cool spring temperatures increased to mid-summer levels.  The coils on its air conditioning units were clogged with dust, dirt and other debris.
