Q:  How safe is RYDALL DC Deodorizing Cleaner?
A:  RYDALL DC is safe enough even for porous surfaces such as marble. There’s no need for gloves or goggles when using it. Plus, RYDALL DC is hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, non-corrosive and absolutely odor-free.

Q:  Can I still discard my dirty water down the drain?
A:  RYDALL DC is biodegradable and ENVIRONMENTALLY BENEFICIAL so you could certainly discard it down drains, sinks, toilets, or even grease traps to help reduce odors and keep pipes clean!

Q:  How much do I need to use?
A:  The short answer... very little. It really depends on the method of application:
  • Hand Sprayer: 1oz per 16oz of water
  • Floor Scrubber: 1oz per 4 gallons of water
  • Mop & Bucket: 1oz per 2 gallons of water
  • Pressure Washer: 1oz per 8 gallons of water.

Q:  What is ATP?
A:  ATP, an acronym for Adenosine TriPhosphate, is a molecule that is found in and around all living cells. It is used to give a direct measure of biological concentration and health. ATP is quantified by measuring the light produced through its reaction with the naturally occurring firefly enzyme, Luciferase using a luminometer. The amount of light produced is directly proportional to the amount of living organisms present in the sample. Hospitals and other food facilities use this testing method to monitor cleanliness and sanitation.

Q:  What is a non-active biocatalyst?
A:  Rather than masking odors or introducing active enzymes to control or eliminate odors, vegetable-based non-active biocatalysts (NABCs), such as RYDALL DC, expedite the natural degradation process of existing bacteria through the introduction of micronutrients. NABCs contain nutrients, vitamins and trace elements that provide good bacteria with the ability to expedite the digestion of odor-causing compounds.
